Onion compote chutney

Produced with red onions that a traditional to the Bologna area with a little sugar, a squeeze of lemon and some Marsala wine CDO.  This creates the intense, sweet-and-sour flavour to pair with a wide range of foods, from cheese to meats

You can even enjoy it on its own, spread onto a piece of bread or toast – both delicious and versatile. It is the ideal accompaniment for aged and herb cheeses, and goes equally well with roast meat and game.
