A perfectly balanced Barbaresco from the Montestefano hills, one of the oldest vineyard areas "cru" in the Barbaresco wine region of Piedmont, often nicknamed "the most Barolo among the Barbaresco" due to the powerful tannins and deep, dark blue marl soils.
Full and enveloping, with remarkable persistence, this wine expresses complex aromas of undergrowth, cherry, and wild spices with a pleasant slightly smoky undertone. The palate is elegant, full-bodied, and balanced.
Excellent for pairing with first courses with egg pasta orrisottos dishes based on game, white and red meat. Preferably slightly spicy.
Aged in Oak barrels for at least 30 months and recommended to decant and enjoy at temperatures between 18-20°C;
